Today, we took Gram to Danville, VA, to see Eric's parents house and see all the pretty mansions there. It was great to be able to get her out of the house for the afternoon, and we really enjoyed spending time with her, as well as Eric's parents. Carrie did really well staying out of the Christmas decorations, and even got to sit track-side with JW to watch the train under the Christmas tree. She was very interested in it.
In other news, Carrie is sleeping tonight on her matress on the floor. We are attempting to prepare her for her move up to the Young Toddler room at school, where their nap time is taken on a cot-type bed. Mom and Dad are excited about it, while Grandma Phyllis is really stressing over it. The room is baby-proofed, so no worries there.
Carrie got to visit with Santa at church a few weeks ago, and was pretty unhappy about it. Even with all of his hair she could've pulled, she was still unhappy. So we thought maybe her favorite babysitter, Whitney, would be able to help, and that didn't even work! So we are hoping next year, we can have a positive experience with Santa.

Merry Christmas to everyone!
