Happy for Spring!

Carrie is doing all better, and so are the rest of us! We're very happy warmer weather is here so we can get outside for longer periods of time! We haven't been up to much lately. Mom had her first horse show this past weekend, and though the weather was horrible, it really could have been worse. It was just extremely muddy! It makes for a fun horse show when your horse doesn't like jumping and galloping through huge water puddles! But overall, it was fun and we did well, bringing home a 5th place on Saturday and a 4th and 6th place on Sunday. We could have had a 1st on Saturday, but we had some rider issues that prevented that from happening. I was a little rusty since it was the first show of the season.

We have attempted to put Carrie's hair up in pigtails and a ponytail, but she hates it! Maybe when she gets hot this summer, she'll realize it's much cooler. She is talking our ears off, and her newest word is "happy." Also, she enjoys saying "thank you" a lot. She had an experience with a bug this morning while we were getting ready for school. She picked it up off the floor, and when she opened her hand to show me, it started moving and she got so excited! It was pretty funny. Until next time, take care!
