The Nunn Family Update

Wow, what a busy few weeks we've had! Weekend before last, we had a visit from Felicia and BJ, and that was a total blast! Mom and Felicia went on a trail ride at the barn and went to Walmart while Dad and BJ hung out and did some things. We went to eat Mexican that Saturday night then we played the Wii until who knows what time (I fell asleep)! Carrie had a fun, fun time with BJ. She's always had eyes for him, but it was even more apparent this visit that he was her man. She enjoyed Felicia too, and took to her like she doesn't do with other people. We were sad when they had to go home to Virginia on Sunday, but we know we'll be going to visit them in the Fall.

This past weekend, Mom had a horse show, and it was more successful than the last one! I managed to stay on the entire time, so I felt a lot better about the whole thing! The weather was just perfect. On Memorial Day, we pulled out Carrie's little pool and she enjoyed playing in it until her lips were purple. The water never did warm up, even though it was 80+ degrees outside! Mom has been potting lots of petunias and some catnip. As you will see, Ellie loves her catnip. If you have a cat, indoor or out, it's well worth potting up some of this stuff. It's easy to grow, and they go crazy over it!
We're excited to be staying home this weekend, although we'll be putting down mulch. Carrie has learned a new move that her babysitter, Whitney, will love. No matter what Carrie is doing, if you tell her to be a ballerina, she'll stop and put her leg out, and say "ballerina." It's very cute. Several folks claim she'll take up dancing, and I tell them she can do that until she's about 6-7 years old, but then she'll want to start riding horses. I'll support whatever she wants to do! Take care until next time!

Love the ballerina pose - priceless! It was great to see you all today. We miss you at Centre during "horse show season" but enjoy hearing all about your adventures.
Keep sharing the great pictures.
Love and hugs!
